Who is SHIELD, Inc? S.H.I.E.L.D., INC (Sharing, Helping, Involving, & Encouraging the Lives of the Disadvantaged) is a 501 (c)(3) organization that serves low-income persons with disabilities, homeless families with children, chronically homeless, veterans, and mentally ill individuals & dually diagnosed unaccompanied by children. SHIELD, INC was established in 2000 as a corporation and 2001 as a non-profit. Mission Building stable lives for people with emotional and physical challenges living in the Mississippi Delta. Our Purpose To enhance the lives of people with emotional and physical challenges; To educate the community about obstacles faced by each population of people.
